Methodology

How we price

Where our numbers come from, who checks them, and why our pro recommendations are editorial — never paid.

How we source prices

Our ranges are compiled from published contractor pricing, per-square-foot and per-hour rates across a spread of US markets, and conversations with working pressure-washing professionals. We express every service as a low / average / high band rather than a single number, because real quotes vary with size, condition, and access.

How we keep them current

We review figures as the market moves and stamp every page with a last-updated date. A licensed pressure-washing professional reviews our numbers and method notes for accuracy — especially the soft-wash-versus-pressure guidance, where the wrong method causes real damage.

How we recommend local pros

When we point you to a local crew, it’s an editorial recommendation, not a paid placement. We profile established pros by metro and link to the ones we’d send a neighbor to. We don’t run a lead form, we don’t sell your information, and a company can’t buy a better ranking or a lower published number.

What we don’t do

We don’t invent prices, fabricate reviews, or take a cut of any job. Our ranges are estimates to inform your budget — not quotes, and not a guarantee of any specific price.
